The Vine and the Branches Garden Prayer Group
We always welcome new members to our work and prayer group. We meet Mondays from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. We weed, deadhead, and dream of more beautification for the glory of God. At six o'clock we say the Evening Prayer of the Liturgy of the Hours, an ancient prayer recited by the Catholic Church for centuries. Bob Angus plays his guitar or harmonica to start the praise of our God.
Our goal is to help create a more beautiful and serene environment for meditation for our community, and to praise God. We care for our beautiful outdoor "Way of the Cross", and "Mary's Garden" which is planted on the hill originally used for dumping excess concrete, but now the
home to Mary with her crown of flowers, surrounded by flowers, a table for prayer, and this year the addition of an arbor for
added beauty.

The Craft Group meets faithfully on Tuesday afternoons at 1pm in the Community Room. They lovingly donate their time and talents to create hand-knitted and crocheted Prayer Shawls for those in need.
The Prayer Shawl Ministry has reached out to comfort many people during the painful and difficult times in their lives brought on by illness, hospitalization and the loss of a loved one. Prayer Shawls offer spiritual strength through the prayer and love that are woven into them by the hands and hearts of the ladies who design them. Prayer Shawls are gifts of faith which have been blessed and cannot be bought. They are given freely in the hope that they will bring God’s love and healing to all who wear them.
There three ways you can be part of or help this Ministry:
